ABOUT THE STORY
Hope the caterpillar is ready to transform… but change can feel scary, and her best friend Gracie just wants to protect her, even if it means stopping the process.
Join these two lovable characters on a journey through friendship, fear, unconditional love, second chances, and what it really means to support someone you care about.
This is the first book in the Crystalline Vibes™ Children’s Series, created to help kids (and the grownups who love them) navigate a big, complicated world with simple tools and lots of heart.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Cristal Lynn Cook, LCSW, grew up in tiny Mancos, Colorado, rescuing animals and dreaming up adventures. Her winding career path took her from CPA to FBI agent before ultimately landing in her true calling as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
For over 20 years, she’s supported children, teens, and families through therapy, advocacy, and community work. She travels the world helping others, rescuing animals, and exploring the magic of being human. The real-life Charlie and Gracie are rescue animals, and Cristal often asks herself… “Really, who is rescuing whom?”

“Hi Cristal,I absolutely LOVE your book! It is perfect for the unit my team and I are doing at school right now. It is so perfect! I LOVE it!” - Diane Sherwood, Elementary School Teacher
